LAND (The Aerial Archaeological Network in Denmark) was founded in 2005 by a small number of archaeologists with a common interest in aerial archaeology. The purpose was to broaden the awareness and the usage of aerial archaeology among Danish museums, scholars and students at the universities.

The network meet around 4 times per year. In 2006 the first aerial archaeological seminar was held at Moesgaard Museum, Aarhus. This year we organize the annual AARG-conference (Aerial  Archaeology Research Group) which will be held in Copenhagen 25-27. of September.
